Fitness & Wellness Spaces, Built for the Loads They Carry.

Studios, gyms, and wellness spaces built with the flooring, plumbing, and HVAC the equipment and members actually demand.

Why Keystone for Fitness & Wellness

A fitness space lives or dies on things members never see — floors that take the impact, air that keeps up, and showers that hold up. We build for the loads a gym really carries, not just the finishes.

Challenges We Handle

What a Fitness Space Really Demands

Impact Flooring
Rubber, platforms, and sub-floor built for dropped weights and heavy foot traffic.
HVAC & Air Movement
Cooling and ventilation sized for a full room of working bodies.
Showers & Locker Rooms
Wet areas, drainage, and finishes that survive daily heavy use.
Power for Equipment
Electrical planned around cardio decks, sound, and future add-ons.
Occupancy & Egress
Layout and exits that meet code for the headcount you're building for.
Opening on Schedule
A build sequenced so pre-sales and launch dates actually hold.

Common Questions

Before You Sign Anything

How is occupancy calculated for a gym, and why does it matter?
Exercise and assembly spaces carry a dense occupant load under the building code, and that number sets your required exits, restroom fixtures, and the parking your zoning requires. We confirm a space can legally hold the capacity your model needs before you sign.
Can the structure take heavy equipment and dropped weights?
Free-weight zones, turf, and lifting platforms add point loads and impact the base building may not be built for. We verify the slab and structure, then engineer the sub-floor and platforms to spec rather than improvise them on site.
Will the HVAC actually keep up with a full class?
We size cooling and outdoor-air ventilation for peak occupancy and code-required air rates, not an empty room. A studio that stays comfortable when it's packed is a mechanical decision made during planning.
What about showers, lockers, and ADA?
Wet areas bring drainage, waterproofing, and finishes that survive daily use, and the accessible route, fixture counts, and locker requirements are all set by code. We plan them in rather than discovering them at inspection.
